The role of the Process Engineer will be to document, analyze, and optimize our company processes. This position will collaborate with various stakeholder departments to evaluate current and future business processes. The ideal candidate has a strong background in process engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and has a keen eye for detail.

This position will be required to work in a rapidly developing organization and demonstrate an ability to effectively liaise between work areas. This position requires an ability to quickly identify process optimization opportunities in order to produce efficiencies in support of the organization's goals. Candidate will be a vital contributor to operational initiatives assuming a strong sense of ownership to ensure success.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop processes, including process flow diagrams, product specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement, such as reducing waste, increasing throughput, or improving product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to implement process improvements and ensure consistent and optimized operations.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to evaluate the potential impact of process changes and recommend optimal solutions.
• Develop and implement process control strategies to ensure consistent quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Testing of automation and other process improvements to ensure quality and results are what is expected (KPIs)
• Utilize statistical methods and tools to analyze process data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
• Facilitate the training of team members on process improvement methodologies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of process changes, system modifications, and standard operating procedures after system or process changes are made.
• Support and contribute to communication of process changes, including proper KPIs that will help measure the success of those changes.
• Translation of process documentation to other languages supported by the organizationprimarily Spanish and English.

Qualifications

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, management engineering or business administration or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years in process engineering-type role
• Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certification highly preferred.
• Process Automation using RPA or other automation technologies preferred.
• Experience working with Medical insurance or healthcare companies preffered
• Technical diagramming skills leveraging tools such as Visio, LucidChart, or others.
• Experience as a technical writer producing specifications, release notes, or other technical documentation consumed by business and operational resources.
• Experience working in organizations that have internal software development teams.
• Leadership in the area of developing KPIs as part of projects or process improvement initiatives.
