Responsibilities:


  • Formulate account plans
  • Note account slippage and create a proactive strategy to gain business
  • Engage with partners for quotes/orders and ensure that team enters those quotes/orders successfully
  • Effectively manage a sales pipeline to guarantee continual growth
  • Make inbound and outbound sales calls to an established client base in order to quote prices and provide product information
  • Build influential relationships with our vendor partners and resellers
  • Help resellers navigate vendor programs to maximize the profit for both Tech Data and our partners
  • Identify and develop business opportunities
  • Create business plans to uncover new opportunities and increase Tech Data's sales and profits
  • Represent Tech Data professionally in daily interface with internal and external business partners, customers, and supporting departments
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

**Required Experience and Education (Years & Type): - High School/G.E.D. Certification plus 3 years relevant experience

  • 2 Year Degree plus 2 years relevant experience
**Preferred Experience and Education (Years & Type): - 4 year degree with Sales/Marketing emphasis

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
