Full Job Description


The Network Support Specialist works with the network team monitoring our telecommunication networks and computer systems and servers, supporting customers and addressing their needs.

The Network Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining uninterrupted network availability and thus the organization's operational and business continuity. This talent plays an important part in EdgeUno's customer obsession value and improving customer experiences.

The ideal NOC Specialist is a good communicator who understands the customer journey, can communicate fluently in Portuguese or Spanish and with solid skills communicating in English and has at least 2 years of experience with business networks.

Knowledge of monitoring systems like Zabbix, LibreNMS, Grafana is also very appreciated.


This person must be a geek pursuing network knowledge and certifications, self-motivated and eager to support customers with their needs.

In this position, you're going to shape your career working side by side with a team of Subject Matter Experts and references in the telecommunication and technology industry.


Core Responsibilities

  • Monitoring devices and systems using network management tools
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with customers to determine next steps
  • Updating network documentation and monitoring systems configurations
  • Open tickets with stakeholders and follow escalation and report procedures to solve issues
  • Tracking and documenting all defects and resolutions in details through designated system
  • Receiving calls and/or requests (ticketing system) from customers in English and Spanish or Portuguese
  • Collaborating with Network Engineering Team to assist in network configuration and updates
  • Collaborating in Network, SRE, Cloud special projects
  • Work from the office in shift hours

Requirements:


  • English Level > C1 is a must
  • Fluent Spanish or Portuguese
  • Related technical field course (finished or currently pursuing) or equivalent technical experience and/or training
  • CCNP, JNCIS or Other Network Exame Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of business networks experience
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independent of direct supervision and work shift hours
  • Capability to stay calm and customerfocused in high pressure situations
  • Passion for learning, solving problems as an outsideofboxthinker to be part of a successful fastgrowing company
