El Asistente de Alojamiento e Infraestructura (AeI) & WASH (de sus siglas en inglés de Agua, Saneamiento e Higiene) apoyará las labores de evaluación, diseño, implementación y gestión de las soluciones de alojamiento temporal, transicional y permanente, soluciones para instalaciones educacionales de carácter temporal, transicional y permanente, soluciones de infraestructura comunitaria, así como soluciones de acceso a agua segura, saneamiento y promoción de la higiene que priorice el área y el líder de AeI & WASH de NRC.

así como apoyar técnicamente las actividades de los proyectos con ejecución de planos a nível constructivos y especificaciones técnicas, implementación de propuestas con enfoque ambiental que tienen como propósito que las personas afectadas mejoren sus condiciones y accedan a un alojamiento seguro y digno, ejerzan su derecho al agua y el saneamiento, estas soluciones responden al marco teórico de la estrategias de Alojamiento e Infraestructura y WASH para las situaciones Colombia y Venezuela en Ecuador.

Destacar la necesidad de ejecución de las actividades tanto de "producto" (soluciones técnicas y constructivas, elaboración y lectura de planos arquitectónicos y de redes), como de "proceso" (evaluación participativa de necesidades, capacitaciones, talleres para fortalecer la apropiación, buen uso y mantenimiento, cohesión comunitaria, etc).
