I have a solid background in geographic engineering and environmental management. I am a Climate Change Specialist, able to design and evaluate mitigation and adaptation policies, as well as suggest and monitor strategies to face global environmental problems. In 2019, I completed my PhD in Environmental Science at the University of York in England. 

At professional level, I have more than 20 years’ experience in environmental conservation, project management, and climate change. I have been part of several non-governmental organizations (NGOs), United Nations Agencies, and National and Subnational public entities.

I have been part of several non-governmental organizations (NGOs), United Nations Agencies, and National and Subnational public entities. Most recently (2019-2022), I worked for UNDP as coordinator of “Ecuador’s Fourth National Communication on Climate Change and Second Biennial Update Report” project. I was in charge of leading the project, supervising staff, identifying funding sources, producing and validating contents, and guaranteeing the technical quality of both publications before submission to the IPCC.
