Dear Sirs,

I am offering you my professional services as an English & Spanish teacher in second languages and as a certified professional translator of both languages.

Regarding my education, I have both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Education, Cum Laude, with a major in T.E.S.O.L. and a minor in S.L.A.M. (Second Language Acquisition Methodologies - Spanish) from the U.S.A.T. (University of Science, Arts & Technology). Both degrees have the validation of California University F.C.E. of the U.S.A.

As far as my work experience is concerned, I was a part-time English and Spanish teacher at "Universidad San Francisco de Quito" since 2001 (For 16 years) and at "Universidad del Pacífico" of Quito for about two years. Moreover, I was a History teacher and Tutor for the extended essay to prepare students for the I.B. diploma in the MY High School program at Terranova High School during the 2018-2019 school year. Lately, I have been teaching English and Spanish to executives, professionals, and young students on a personal basis, both face-to-face and online, as a free-lance teacher for Global Lt and Fluency Corp., both international educational organizations located in the U.S.A.

Respecting teaching methodology, I have successfully used the communicative approach method, which focuses on students' needs and learning styles. I have also applied the latest discoveries in Brain Science to language learning, focusing on conversation and comprehension skills at all levels: beginners, intermediate, and advanced. Continuing my education, I have refined my teaching skills by applying the latest knowledge and instruction related to the state-of-the-art facts about bilingualism and multilingualism, reflective teaching and personal goal setting, best teaching practices (Class planning, evaluation, classroom management, and others) and best methodologies based on language analysis (grammar, lexis, and phonology)

On the other hand, some of the online tools I have used for class planning, teaching, monitoring student progress, and assessment are Moodle, Edusoft, Schoology, Nearpod, and Academium, among different online tools.
